Aisera, a leading company in the field of Software Development based in Palo Alto, California, needed to fill a critical role: hiring a specialized Front-End Developer for its Greek Tech Hub as part of its strategic expansion into the European market. In an environment of increasing demand and limited available talent, the hiring process was time-consuming and put the company at risk of losing top candidates. linq took action by implementing a targeted recruitment strategy that not only accelerated the process but also secured the hiring of the ideal candidate, giving Aisera the competitive advantage it needed to continue its upward trajectory

The Challenge

Aisera faced several challenges in finding the right Front-End Developer for its Greek Hub. The candidate needed not only technical skills but also the flexibility to collaborate with teams in different time zones—America and India. The hiring process was particularly demanding, consisting of 6 stages of interviews involving five different individuals from three continents. Additionally, the position required excellent command of the English language and the ability to work in a flexible schedule due to the differing timelines of the company’s partners.

Another significant challenge for Aisera was the time-consuming hiring process. The complex 6-stage interview recruitment process increased the risk of losing top candidates, while the geographical dispersion of the teams made finding a candidate who could meet these conditions even more difficult. The prolonged hiring process could take weeks, resulting in the loss of candidates who were likely moving forward with offers from other companies. Expectations for the new Front-End Developer were high, and the need to find the right candidate quickly and efficiently was critical for the further development of Aisera’s Tech Hub.

The Action

To address the challenges posed by Aisera, linq adopted a talent sourcing strategy focused on passive candidates. We concentrated on finding professionals who were not actively seeking a job change, aiming to allow them to complete the demanding hiring process without being in advanced discussions with other companies. Simultaneously, we utilized our modern tools to identify candidates who met the technical requirements of the position and had the capability to collaborate with an international team.

Our strategy included targeted candidate sourcing and searching our database for passive candidates who could meet Aisera’s requirements. With access to over 270,000 profiles of specialized professionals and having collaborated with more than 5,500 companies globally, we were able to quickly identify suitable candidates who could successfully navigate the complex hiring process. We used our talent matching algorithms to swiftly locate candidates with the right technical background and cultural adaptability, expediting the profile filtering process.

The strategy also involved conducting initial phone interviews to accelerate the process and ensure that candidates had the appropriate background. To save time, we grouped stages 3 and 4 of the interviews into a single back-to-back session lasting 1.5 hours, significantly reducing the overall time required to reach the final interviews.

Throughout the process, the linq team provided continuous support and feedback to both candidates and Aisera’s hiring managers. We created personalized preparation guides for candidates, containing information about the company and tips for the interviews, ensuring that they were fully prepared. Continuous communication with the HR manager at Aisera allowed us to keep the process organized and ensure that everything progressed within the established timeframe.

Results

The strategy of linq yielded results, as within 28 days we delivered the final list of shortlisted candidates, and the candidate who was ultimately hired was sent to Aisera just 9 days after the project was initiated. In a total of 62 working days, we filled the position with an exceptional Front-End Developer who met all the specifications set by Aisera. From the 6 profiles we forwarded for evaluation, the final candidate was chosen as the ideal fit for the company. Our flexibility in managing the hiring process, such as grouping interviews and targeted communication with candidates, contributed to the speed and effectiveness of the process.

Overall, the success of this project was not only in hiring the right candidate but also in optimizing the experience for both Aisera and the candidates. The Director of AI at Aisera expressed his complete satisfaction with the collaboration and emphasized his positive experience throughout the process. Thanks to the successful hire, the company was able to strengthen its Greek Tech Hub and reduce the workload of existing employees.
