Epidosis is an accounting, tax, and business advisory firm with nearly four decades of experience in the Greek market. Founded in Thessaloniki in 1986, the company has steadily expanded its footprint, establishing offices in Athens, Thessaloniki, Larissa, Nicosia, Sofia, and Petrich. Today, it supports entrepreneurs, self-employed professionals, family-owned businesses, and organizations operating across Greece, Cyprus, and Bulgaria.
In recent years, Epidosis has invested heavily in the digital transformation of its services, integrating modern technologies and artificial intelligence into its day-to-day operations. As part of this innovation-driven approach, the company also adopted the AI capabilities of linq Sourcing+, aiming to strengthen its candidate sourcing and evaluation process.
For an organization operating across multiple cities and countries, effective recruitment is more than an HR function—it is a key driver of business growth. The ability to identify and engage qualified talent quickly and consistently across different geographical markets is essential for sustaining the company’s expansion.
The Challenge
Epidosis faced a complex recruitment challenge, having to fill critical positions across different departments and locations within two consecutive months. In March, the focus was on strengthening the Finance team by hiring two Personal Tax Consultants in Thessaloniki and one Senior Payroll & Labor Compliance Expert in Athens. In April, recruitment expanded to Business Administration and Sales with the search for a Sales Manager, a Business Network Coordinator, and an Administrative Assistant, all based in Athens.
The complexity of the project extended far beyond the number of vacancies. Each role required a different recruitment strategy. The search for Personal Tax Consultants was particularly challenging due to the smaller pool of qualified professionals available in Thessaloniki compared to Athens. Meanwhile, the Senior Payroll & Labor Compliance Expert position was so specialized that no candidates applied directly, making targeted outreach the only viable sourcing strategy.
All of these recruitment processes ran simultaneously while the company continued its day-to-day operations without the support of a large internal HR department. The challenge was not simply to fill the positions, but to do so quickly, consistently, and accurately despite the different requirements of each role.
The Solution
The collaboration began with a comprehensive walkthrough of the linq Sourcing+ Annual platform, enabling the Epidosis team to leverage all of its capabilities from day one. We also delivered in-depth training on the platform’s AI feature, empowering the company to manage future recruitment processes independently without relying on external support for every new hiring need.
Beyond training, the linq team actively participated in every recruitment process, supporting Epidosis in identifying, sourcing, and engaging qualified candidates for each role. The partnership evolved into a collaborative effort, combining continuous sourcing support with strategic guidance to maximize the platform’s effectiveness throughout every search.
Across the five recruitment campaigns, 71 targeted outreach requests were sent, while 85 inbound applications were received. From this combined talent pool, 19 candidates expressed interest and progressed through the recruitment process. Ultimately, all positions were successfully filled, demonstrating that the combination of targeted sourcing, AI-powered recruitment, and close collaboration can effectively support multiple parallel hiring initiatives.
The Results
Five recruitment campaigns. Two departments. Two cities. Two months. Every position successfully filled.
The results highlight the different recruitment challenges behind each search. One particularly noteworthy example was the Senior Payroll & Labor Compliance Expert role, which was filled exclusively through targeted outreach, without receiving a single inbound application. This demonstrates that, for highly specialized professional profiles, proactive candidate outreach is often the most effective talent acquisition strategy.
By successfully filling five critical positions across Athens and Thessaloniki, Epidosis strengthened its teams, accelerated its hiring process, and gained the flexibility to remain focused on its continued business growth.
The Conclusion
The Epidosis case demonstrates how a comprehensive sourcing strategy can successfully support a fast-growing organization with multiple simultaneous hiring needs. Rather than focusing on a single vacancy, the partnership enabled the successful coordination and completion of multiple recruitment processes across different departments, functions, and locations within a relatively short period.
Another key outcome was the training provided on the platform’s AI feature. The objective extended beyond filling immediate vacancies—it was to equip the Epidosis team with the knowledge and confidence to manage future recruitment independently. In this way, linq delivered more than a solution for the company’s current hiring needs; it helped establish a more efficient, scalable, and sustainable recruitment process for the future.
